I wrote the song and it was performed live at the book launch for PEASPROUT CHEN, FUTURE LEGEND OF SKATE AND SWORD on April 7, 2018 at Children’s Book World in Los Angeles.

We had a packed crowd of kids and grownups. Idina’s introductory words about the book were some of the most affirming things I have ever heard in my life. The preparation for the performance was fraught with technical and logistical difficulties, including the fact that I had never played the drum prior to the afternoon before the event, but it ended up being the best two minutes of my life.
