Teacher/podcast host/children’s lit paladin Colby Sharp featured me in his YouTube series One Question with Mr. Sharp. He asked me one innocent question that ended up being deeply confronting and interesting.

He essentially asked me for my life story (in under ten minutes). As a storyteller, this naturally forced me to ask myself what the main theme of my life story is. And is it interesting enough that anyone else would care? And what if my life story doesn’t have a main theme? Does that mean it’s meaningless?
