Another Pearl novelette is now available in Analog.

Sorry, readers, I’ve been a deadbeat blogger. 2014 has been a year of gestation for me as a writer. I am now the Arts Editor at Interfictions and I was anointed Art Director at Lightspeed Magazine.

I did not have any works published this year, but I am making up for that in 2015. I have a novelette in Analog, a story in the Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction, a novelette in Asimov’s, and another story in Lady Churchill’s Rosebud Wristlet coming out in 2015. In addition, I have a long essay and photo gallery coming out about the creation of one of my stories, a podcast of one of my stories read by me, a roundtable podcast with me and my fellow Nebula novelette category nominees Ken Liu and Sarah Pinsker talking about things like the obsession with individual heroism in “Western” science fiction and fantasy, and a reprint of my novelette “Pearl Rehabilitative Colony for Ungrateful Daughters” in the Nebula Anthology edited by Greg Bear.
